flying from Cork to

and onwards from London to Singapore with British
Airways.

ABOUT SINGAPORE
We flew from Singapore to Alice Springs via Melbourne with Qantas
and Qantaslink.
The choice of in flight entertainment with both Qantas &
B.A was fantastic. This really helps to pass a few hours on
a long journey. There was a wide choice of movies, CDs
& games with very up to date releases.
I would recommend any passengers travelling with
specific dietary requirements to ensure they have this
request confirmed before they travel.
Alice Springs is a perfect base to explore authentic
Australia right in the centre of this huge country. We
went on a 2 day
Uluru Safari from Alice Springs, which
was an amazing experience. The tour involved a bus
transfer shared by a small group (11 of us in total)
plus our tour guide.

SPRINGS & AYER'S ROCK.
We flew from Alice Springs to Cairns in Queensland. With
just a few hours in a plane I was in a totally different
surrounding. In Alice Springs it is desert like with an
orange landscape and on arrival in Cairns it’s a real
tropical city with fabulous palm trees and a gorgeous
climate. Cairns is not a huge city and is a great base
for Trips to
Cape Tribulation or for the more
adventurous diving in the
Great Barrier Reef.
We bought a 10-day tour down along the East Coast, which
included my Premier bus pass, visiting
Airlie Beach
and the
Whitsunday Islands.
We continued down along the East Coast to
Hervey Bay, a perfect base for Trips to
Fraser Island,
stayed in Noosa, and went on a day trip to the
Steve
Irwin Australia Zoo from here.
After that we continued on to
Brisbane.
Our stay there was very short but would definitely
recommend a visit of a few days. Then we went
onwards to
Byron Bay
where we saw met a wild
Kangaroo
carrying a baby in its pouch!

We flew From Brisbane to Sydney.
Sydney is a fantastic city. We spent four nights in
Sydney. It was very easy to get around with
great public
Transport.
