Nightlife is vibrant and sophisticated with a variety of
restaurants, bars and discos to suit the tastes and
requirements of even the most discerning traveller.
Gran Canaria is also very popular with families.

visited Gran Canaria in June 2007 and stayed in Puerto
Rico. She reported that:
"The weather was fabulous, with a gorgeous breeze.
Puerto Rico is a hilly resort. I would like to discuss
this with any customers who might have mobility
difficulties.
The beach was lovely, somewhat small, but with a wide variety
of watersports.
The Marina is beautiful. Lots of fishing trips are
available, with a day's angling costing €60 approx.
The shopping centre is a large complex with a busy variety of
shops, bars and restaurants.
A day trip to the Aquapark at Maspalomas is well worth it. A
really fun day can be had there and the taxi is €20
approx.

Gran Canaria should be explored far beyond the resort

Gran Canaria is the most scenic of the Canary Islands,
with a dramatic mountainous interior full of canyons,
ravines and crag. The interior often
resembles the landscapes seen in Wild West movies.
The extraordinary feature of Gran Canaria is it's
climate. An Island just 50km approx in
diameter has an amazing microclimate, ranging from
tropical to occasional snowfalls on
Pico de Las Nieves
(1,949m)
Playa del Ingles is the island's largest resort with 6km
of sandy beaches. There is endless choice
for water sports enthusiasts, from waterskiing and
sailing to bodyboarding. For serious retail therapy head
for the Kasbah Commercial Centre.
Puerto Rico
has an excellent sunshine record and is set
into a commanding hillside position. Due to its setting
anyone with mobility difficulties should talk to us
first.
Puerto Mogan is a resort growing in popularity set
around a fishing village known as little Venice
due to the various footbridges throughout the resort.
