While with Lillis Travel, Linda prepared
the following account of her fascinating country:
"In Auckland City there is the
Sky Tower which is 328m

restaurants, bars, cinema and a theatre within
SkyCity.
The
Auckland Domain is located in the city and is 200

Wintergardens which has two large
glasshouses full of plants and fishponds and the Domain

Silverdale.
To the west of the city you can visit
MOTAT (Museum of
Transport and Technology) and from there take a 10 min

which has geysers and boiling mudpools. There are also
the
Waitomo Caves which have glow worms and you can go
black-water rafting. Another place to visit is
Taupo.
Here you will find the
Huka Falls where you can go
jet-boating.
On the
East Coast of the North Island is the
Hawkes Bay
which has various wineries.
In the centre of the North Island is
Mt Ruapehu which
you can
ski on in the winter.

Cook Strait

There are
many places to ski in the
South Island and you
can go
heli-skiing as well as many adventure activities
such as
Bungy jumping,

Transport around N.Z. can be by flight, bus or car.
There is
a train that goes from Auckland to Wellington
and you can go by

N.Z. is very multi-cultural so there is a lot of choice
in
